Teaser Tuesday #15

A big thank you to my favorite model Robyn Watson for not only taking this gorgeous picture, but also for allowing me to use it here on my blog! You are amazing girl!

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted over at Should Be Reading where we book bloggers give you lovely readers a tantalizing taste of whatever it is we are reading right now. To play along:

•  Grab your current read
•  Open to a random page
•  Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•  BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•  Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teaser is:
Deadline
Mira Grant
Newsflesh Trilogy #2
Genre: Horror, Post-Apocalypse, Zombie Fiction
"Our story opens where countless stories have ended in the last twenty-seven years: with an idiot-- in this case, Rebecca Atherton, head of the After The End Times Irwins, winner of the Golden Steve-o Award for valor in the face of the undead-- deciding it would be a good idea to go out and poke a zombie with a stick to see what happens. Because, hey, there's always the chance that this time, maybe thing will go differently."
pg. 5

I am just starting this book as a May buddy read so I am sharing the first two sentences of the book with you all in order to avoid spoilers. If this teaser intrests you, please read Feed first! Do no read the description for this book unless you have read the previous book first or risk tempting the plot twist gods!

What's your teaser this week?
